IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dollie
Lowrance
April 18, 1945 – September 7, 2025
Dollie Lowrance was born on April 18, 1945, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, to the late Josephine Lyles Lowrance and the late Roosevelt Lowrance. She was educated in the Spartanburg County school system.
Dollie was a caring and giving person who never hesitated to help anyone in need. She was a wonderful cook and a loving mother and grandmother. Known for her freehearted spirit, she enjoyed playing games on her tablet, spending time on the phone with loved ones, and sharing in laughter and conversation.
She was a devoted member of Holden Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, where she faithfully served as a missionary and on the culinary ministry. Dollie was also a proud Braves baseball fan and had a special love for the color purple.
She was preceded in death, along with her parents, by her siblings: Horace Lowrance, Josephine Riser, Wilbert Lowrance, and Aileen Alexander.
She leaves to cherish her love and legacy to: her beloved sons, Thomas (Pamela) Lowrance of Spartanburg, SC, Bruce (Sandra) Lowrance of Forest City, NC, and Dwayne Lowrance of the home; her brothers, Jerry Lowrance of Spartanburg, SC, Larry (Ruby) Lowrance of Inman, SC, and Stevie Lowrance of Spartanburg, SC; her sisters, Betty M. Cook of Spartanburg, SC, Viola Brewton of Charlotte, NC, and Mary Lowrance of Spartanburg, SC; her cherished grandchildren, Rodney Murray, Dwhon Lowrance, Leslie Littlejohn, Darryl "BJ" Edgerton, and Makenly Lowrance; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will remember her with love.
On Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Magnolia Manor-Inman, Dollie peacefully transitioned from this life. She will be deeply missed, but forever remembered.
