Deloris Smith was born in Spartanburg, SC, on February 20, 1955, to the late Mary Ella Smith and the late Harold I. Miller.

Deloris was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Spartanburg, SC. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Deloris retired from Spartanburg Medical Center after many years of service as a Dietary Supervisor. She also retired from Ingles Groceries.

She was preceded in death, along with her parents, by siblings, Robert Smith, Jr., Williams Rogers, Willie Rogers, Sheila Posey and Darcy Thompson.

Left to cherish her fond and loving memories are daughter, Likita (Dennis) Dillard of Jonesboro, GA; grandchildren, Zanna Dillard and Kaelin (Jamaya) Dillard both of Jonesboro GA; sisters, Addie (Freddie) Palmer, Trina Smith, Sandra Thompson, Debra Thompson, Frieda Thomspon, and Catherine Thompson all of Spartanburg, SC; brothers,  James Rogers of Spartanburg, SC, Harold S. Thompson, Charlotte, NC, and Jerome Crawford of Spartanburg, SC; special great nephew, Ayden Robinson (whom she loved dearly); and a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

On Friday, July 12, 2024, Deloris transitioned peacefully at her home at the age of 69. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
