IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Deborah
Davis
May 30, 1959 – March 25, 2025
Deborah Kay Davis was born on May 30, 1959, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, to the late Charles Edward Richard, Sr. and the late Ellen Ruth Hull. She was educated in the Spartanburg County school system and graduated from Cowpens High School. With a compassionate spirit and a deep dedication to caring for others, she devoted many years of her career to the healthcare field as a caregiver.
Known for her talkative nature and warm sense of humor, Deborah brought joy to those around her. A devoted mother and grandmother, she loved her family deeply and would do anything for her children and grandchildren. In her spare time, she found enjoyment in watching soap operas and had a fondness for purses of all brands. Shades of blue were her favorite colors, reflecting her calm and steadfast nature. As a woman of faith, she was a dedicated member of New Zion Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tremell Davis; her parents; siblings, Barbara Wynn Smith, Anita Louise Crosby, Charles Edward Richard, Jr., and Marshall Hull, Jr.; and grandson, Grayson Nash.
Cherishing her memory are her loving daughters, Latoya Vernon (Jerome), Deniti Jeffries (Alajuan Rimmer), and Kanisha Nash, all of Spartanburg, SC. Also left to honor her legacy are sisters, Janer Hull Foster and Francine Sullivan, both of Spartanburg, SC; aunts, Alice Walker and Eloise Lowrance, both of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Daquan Jeffries, Daitravious Jeffries, Yazmin Jeffries, Tyjuan Rimmer, Jamarion Rimmer, Josiaus Lindsey, Micah Lindsey, Anthony Petty, and Zriyah Rimmer; as well as eight great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a special friend, Zimmerman Owens; lifelong best friend, Ruth Mitchell; and a host of cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
On Tuesday, March 25, 2025, Deborah peacefully transitioned at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Her loving heart, unwavering devotion to family, and infectious sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit and love will remain in the hearts of those she touched.
