Obituary

Francis Logan was born, on January 29, 1939, to the late Carlisle and Minnie Logan.  Francis was a native of Cowpens, SC. Francis was a graduate of Benjamin E. Mays School.

Mr. Logan was a member of Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Cowpens, SC where he served as a Deacon and Treasurer.  He was a retired employee of American Fast Print and Dollar General.

Francis was preceded in death, along with his parents, by wife Patricia A. Logan; siblings, Bill Logan, Joe Dean Logan, Corrie Brackett, Sarah Brackett, Eddie Logan, James Logan, and Alice Stevenson.

His memory will be honored and kept alive by brother, Roy Logan; sisters, Minnie (Clemon) Makupson, and Hettie Mitchell; nephew raised in the home as a brother, Clarence Brackett; godsons, Kenny Logan, Matthew Logan, Michael Logan, and Deion Logan; and a host of nieces and nephews.

On Friday, January 26, 2024, Francis transitioned peacefully at Magnolia Manor Spartanburg. Francis' life was a testament to the power of love and strength of family.  He will be deeply missed, but the memories he created will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew him.
