Mr. David Williams, Sr. was born on October 8, 1939, to the late Willie William and Grace Evans Williams in Reidville, SC. He was educated in the Spartanburg County Schools. David was very comical and simply enjoyed life. His favorite NFL team was the Kansas City Chief and he was an amazing cook.

David leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to his children, David (Cassady Dunn) Williams, Jr. of Gaffney, SC and Gwendolyn Gayle Howard Williams of Kansas City, MO; brother, Douglas Williams of Spartanburg, SC;  stepsons, Stanly Anderson,  Tommie Anderson, Johnny Hill, Michael Hill, Kenneth Miller, and Anthony "Amp" Hill  all of Spartanburg, SC; stepdaughters, Rebecca Hill and Rebba Hill both of Spartanburg, SC; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Williams of Gaffney, SC; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

On the morning of Wednesday February 22, 2023 David transitioned peace at Physical Rehab & Wellness Center of Spartanburg. His humorous spirt will live on in the lives of his family and friends
