David Wayne Davis was born, August 31, 1960, in Spartanburg, SC. He attended McCarthy Teszler School. David was very quiet and had a cordial personality.

David was a faithful volunteer for many years at the Spartanburg Soup Kitchen. He thoroughly enjoyed cleaning the facilities and greeting the volunteers, staff, and clients.  David also enjoyed riding his bike and loved all sports. His favorite color was blue.

David leaves behind the staff, volunteers, and clients of the Spartanburg Soup Kitchen.

On the afternoon of October 29, 2023, David transitioned at the Spartanburg Medical Center. He will be sorely missed.
