Da`ran Andre` Boyd was born on December 29, 1982, to Mrs.  Angela Hillstock ( George Crittenden) Williams and Mr. Donnie Boyd in Spartanburg, SC. He was educated in the Spartanburg County school system. He worked in the manufacturing field as a machine operator. He loved watching sports of all kinds and was a mild-mannered and tempered "Gentle Giant". He had an uncanny wit and loved his family dearly. Da`ran had an intense love for sneakers and was known for being a "Sneakerhead".

He leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories, along with his parents, to his daughters,  Daranesha Boyd of Spartanburg, SC and Lyghter Boyd of NC; sons, R`kevious Wingo and Dhani Allen both of Spartanburg, SC, Kingsley Davidson of Gaffney, SC,  and Vision Boyd of Greenville, SC;  grandfather, Willie Lyles of Wellford, SC; aunts, Allison (Keith) Washington of Westin, Florida, Thomasina Singletary and Annette (Larry) Jefferies both of Spartanburg, SC, and Lillie Ruth (Mitch) Mitchell; a special aunt, Pearl (James) Ellis of Spartanburg, SC;  uncle, David Boyd of Spartanburg, SC; great aunts, Dorothy Meadows of Roebuck, SC and Dorothy Lyles of Duncan, SC; great uncle, James Hillstock of Spartanburg, SC; honorary brothers, Kendrick Gude, Ricardo Clowney, Shermaine Brown, Desmond Meadows, and the  Duncan Park Crew; and a  host of special friends, cousins, and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers Sarah Logan and Myrtle Boyd;  daughter, Halo Boyd;  aunt, Shirley Boyd;  uncles, Willie Boyd, and Alfred Boyd.

On Thursday, December 9, 2021, Da`ran transitioned peacefully and his memories will be forever treasured in the hearts and minds of those who loved him.
