Obituary

Corine Knight was born, on February 6, 1950, to the late Thomas Rivers and the late Marie Boyd Rivers, in Branchville, SC. She attended Branch Lockett High School.

Corine was extremely family-oriented and loved her family immensely. Her greatest joy was spending quality time with them. She was an amazing cook and loved to laugh. Corine's favorite color was purple.

Corine was a member of the Suck Creek Baptist Church. She served as a Junior Deaconess, Young Women's Auxiliary, and the Women's Ministry.

Corine was preceded in death, along with her parents, by husband, Major Lewis Knight.

Left to cherish her life and legacy include sons, Tony (Ericka Grissom) Knight of Spartanburg, SC and Jeremy Knight of McCormick, SC; daughters, Lee Biggerstaff of Jacksonville, FL, Sharie Glover of Cowpens, SC and Jessica Knight of Spartanburg, SC; brother, Thomas Rivers of Orangeburg, SC; sisters, Betty Ruth Rivers of Orangeburg, SC and Minister Jestine (Abraham, Jr.) Lincoln of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Korina LaKia Summers, Savanah Summers, TeQuez Aundrel Knight, Timothy LaTwon Summers, Mackenzie J'da Mahagony  Knight; 15 great grandchildren; and a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

On the evening of Monday, December 18, 2023, Corine transitioned peacefully at the Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Her life and legacy will be treasured by her family and friends.
