Clifford "Cordell" Lee, a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and dear friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. He was born on April 18, 1876, and resided at 126 Harmony Drive in Spartanburg, SC.

Cordell was the son of Wilhelmena Lee and the late Clifford Lee, Jr.  Cordell was educated in the Spartanburg County school system. He loved being around family and friends and spending quality time with everyone. Cordell had a growing love for his grandchildren and desired to get better so he could be here for them. Cordell was partial to the colors blue and silver and was undoubtedly the biggest Dallas Cowboys fan. As a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, Cordell accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior.

Cordell was preceded in death by his sister, Marva Lynette Whitener.

Surviving in addition to his mother, Cordell leaves behind to cherish loving memories his sons,  Marques Stevens of Greensboro, NC and Dondre' Lee of Spartanburg, SC; daughter, Carneshia Lee of Spartanburg, SC; four grandchildren, Ta'Driyan Irby, Chance Lee, Legend Lee all of Spartanburg, SC and Rylan Stevens of Greensboro, NC; niece, Darcel Ja'Rea Williams and nephew, Carlos Rashime Whitener both reared in the home; six aunts; four uncles; best friend since childhood, Jerrell Means of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
