Obituary

Claude Goodman, affectionately known as "CJ", of, was born on April 20, 1990, to Chandler Goodman Ibrahim and Michael Charles Anthony Greene. He was educated in the public schools and was a proud graduate of Lake Taylor High School. Claude was employed as a cook at Burger King, where he was known for his hard work and friendly spirit.

Claude loved to sing and had a deep appreciation for music and musicals, especially "Rent" and "The Epic the Musical". He had a warm and joyful personality that made people smile wherever he went. He loved his family deeply and was a devoted father who enjoyed spending time with his children. Claude also had a strong interest in electronics and anime, and his creativity and sense of humor made him truly unforgettable.

He had a beautiful smile and loved celebrating Halloween, especially dressing up with his children. A loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Claude proudly cheered for his team every season. His favorite colors were orange and green, reflecting his bright and vibrant spirit that brought joy to all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by niece, Christine Goodhope; nephew, Owen Vann; and sister, Lizette Burrell.

He leaves his love and memories to his loving wife, Gabriella Nicole Valetin Goodman of the home; mother, Chandler Goodman Ibrahim of Spartanburg, SC;  children, Dominick Williams and Apryll Goodman of both of Brooklyn, NY, Madison Valetin, Olivia Goodman, and Dallas Goodman all of Gaffney, SC; siblings, Yanick Houghton of New York, NY, Latasha Cole of Manhattan, NY, Natasha Vann of Staten Island , NY, Rontez Vann of Watertown, NY, Michael Goodman of Norfolk, VA, Elijah (Britne) Greene of Spartanburg, SC, Soloman Greene of Brooklyn, NY, Zipporah Greene of Bridgeport, CT, Gabriell Burrel of Bronx, NY, Tharah Parsons of New York, NY and Jada Burrell of Brooklyn, NY; aunt, Teresa (Larry) Grant of Newport News, VA and Valarie Comrie of Lumberton, NC; nieces and nephews, Xavier Cole, Michael "Lil Mike" Goodman, Marciana Pagan, Dazzire Goodman, Leron Burton, Akira Vann, Shamond Goodhope, Davon Sneed, Tashawn Greene, Keshawn Pierre, Malikah Vann, Gabriel Vann, Elona Greene, Madison Greene, and Elizabeth Green; grandmother, Amy Grant; the Goodman, Valetin, and Allen families and friends and a host of other relatives and friends.
