Chris Miller, affectionately known as "Slim," "Boobie," and "Millertime," was born on August 30, 1976, to Joyce Ann Boyd and the late James Nathaniel Miller in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Chris attended Landrum High School and was employed with Builders First Source as a delivery assistant. He enjoyed listening to music, lifting weights, and spending time with friends. He was also a devoted fan of the Carolina Panthers.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Nathaniel Miller; sons, Christopher T. Skeen and Kobe D. Skeen; nephew, Franklin S. Hines; and grandparents, John E. Miller, Emma S. Miller, Frank Butler, and Nettie Ruth A. Boyd.
Cherishing his memories are his mother, Joyce A. Boyd of Inman, South Carolina; children, Justice Deal, Nakiyah Miller, Eliza Byers, all of Spartanburg, South Carolina, and Daniah Cunningham of Greenville, South Carolina; siblings, Lisa B. Jones of Boiling Springs, South Carolina, David (Monica) Boyd of Spartanburg, South Carolina, James (Adrienne) Miller of Boiling Springs, South Carolina, Sharon (Alonzo) Pearson of Spartanburg, South Carolina, and Thomas (Janice) Miller of Tryon, North Carolina; aunt, Mildred McDowell of Landrum, South Carolina; uncle, Ricky Miller of Chesnee, South Carolina; 10 grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, great aunts, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
On Friday, February 20, 2026, Chris transitioned from this life. His presence will be deeply missed, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
