Charles Edward Robinson

Charles Edward Robinson was born on December 28, 1961, to Mary Pearl Robinson, in Spartanburg, SC. He was educated in the Spartanburg County school system and graduated from Dorman High School with the Class of 1980.

Charles was a devoted family man whose greatest joy was spending time with those he loved. He enjoyed gaming, watching professional wrestling, and cheering for his favorite sports teams, the Dallas Cowboys Atlanta Braves, and North Carolina Tarheels. His warm spirit, sense of humor, and love for fellowship made him a joy to know. Charles was also a faithful member of Mt. Sinai World Outreach Ministries, where he worshiped and nurtured his faith.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willis Robinson and Sally Robinson aunt, Viola Rookard; and niece, Chace Lyles.

Left to cherish his precious memories are his loving and devoted wife, Mattie Robinson of the home; his children, Ricus (Madison Sanchez-Torres) Askew of Myrtle Beach, SC and Charissa Robinson; his siblings, Jacqueline Rogers of Greer, SC and Tyler (Tarvis) Jackson of Spartanburg, SC; his aunt, Annie Ruth (Rev. T. J.) Jackson of Spartanburg, SC; his beloved grandchildren, Kieraney Peppers and London Robinson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends who will forever treasure the time they shared with him.

On Monday, July 20, 2026, Charles peacefully transitioned from labor to reward. While his physical presence will be deeply missed, the love he shared, the kindness he extended, and the memories he created will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and his legacy will forever remain an enduring source of comfort and inspiration to his family and friends.
