Mr. Charles Earl "Big Man" Lyles was born on June 6, 1952, to the late Flossie Feaster and the late Charles Edward Lyles, in Spartanburg, SC.

He was educated in the Spartanburg County school system and was a former employee of Draper Corporation. Charles enjoyed walking, he enjoyed it so much so that he walked to most of the places he went. His affections for NFL teams were divided between the Pittsburg Steelers and the Carolina Panthers. He loved joking around and making others laugh and would share whatever he had with whomever he could.

Those left to cherish his memory include three sisters, Jessie Lyles of Spartanburg, SC, Doris Harris of Conyers, GA and Lorinda Brown of Spartanburg, SC; one brother, John Bogan of Spartanburg, SC; three aunts, Mary Feaster of Baltimore, MD, Annie Feaster and Johnnie (Gary) Rosenburg both of Spartanburg, SC; one uncle, Willie James (Linda) Stevenson of Shelton, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

On November 28, 2022, Mr. Charles Earl "Big Man" Lyles entered into eternal rest.
