Ms. Carolyn Jonetha Alexander was born on November 6, 1970, in Spartanburg, South Carolina to the late Betty Ruth Alexander and the late Laddie Joe Alexander.  She was educated in the Spartanburg County School District 4 and was a graduate of Woodruff High School.  Carolyn was a member of the Mt. Alexander Baptist Church.  She enjoyed being home and watching TV, however, two and a half men was her favorite show.  Her favorite color was purple. Carolyn loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them.

Carolyn leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to her daughter, Shontara Burnside of the home; son, Quintarrus Alexander of the home; brother, Freddy Alexander of Taylors, SC; aunts, Deborah Young and Shirley Smith both of Woodruff, SC; uncle, James Earl Ferguson  of Spartanburg, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death, along with her parents, by a brother, Ricky Ferguson and grandparents , Ruth Ferguson, LC Ferguson, Duffie Alexander and Lola B Alexander.

On Monday, March 28. 2022, Carolyn transitioned peacefully at the Spartanburg Medical Center. Her loving spirit will be forever cherished by all who knew her.
