Mr. Bruce Lowell Bailey was born on November 3, 1958, in Spartanburg, SC, to the late Robert Lowell Bailey and the late Earline Sloan.  He was educated in the Woodruff, SC  school system of Spartanburg County.  Bruce worked in construction for many years and was employed at the Walmart Distribution Warehouse for the last ten years.

Bruce was a consummate University of South Carolina Gamecock football fan and immensely enjoyed watching NASCAR.; his favorite drivers were Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earhart, Jr.  He was known for being an outdoorsman and enjoyed being in nature.  Bruce was noted for his exceptional grilling skills and enjoyed cooking for his family and friends.

Bruce was preceded in death, along with his parents, by his siblings, Michael Bailey, Phillip Bailey and Tracie Bailey.

He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to his loving daughters, Brittany Bailey of Spartanburg, SC and Heather Bailey Pauline, SC; ex-wife Helen Bailey; sisters, Rita Jolly of Prosperity, SC and Sherry Edge of Spartanburg, SC; aunt, Joann Mostella of Fountain Inn, SC; one grandson, Jesse Pinzon; and a host of other relatives and friends.

On January 7, 2023, Bruce's full life came to a close.  He will live forever in the thoughts and hearts of all who loved and knew him.
