Bette Ann Szymkowiak, affectionately known as Betka, was born on July 6, 1951, to the late Helen Backo Rogala and the late Benjamin Rogala in Natrona Heights, PA. She worked many years in data programing at Allegheny Lundium.

In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, drinking coffee and being in nature. She loved her family greatly and had a comedic flare. Her favorite football team was the Steelers.

Left to cherish her memory are sons, Eric (Dawn) Szymkowiak and Brian Szymkowiak; grandchildren, Brook (John) Livingston, Colten Szymkowiak, Gunner Szymkowiak, and Mitchell Szymkowiak; great grandchildren, Mckenna Szymkowiak, Morgan Szymkowiak, Dawson, and Mia; sisters, Susan (William) Knoll
