Miss Ashley Nicole Berry was born on November 12, 1988, to Sharon D. Lewis and Buddy Berry, Jr., in Spartanburg, SC. She was a graduate of James F. Byrnes High School in Duncan, South Carolina. Ashley was employed at KFC as a manager and cashier. Her favorite color was pink, and she enjoyed getting her nails done.

She leaves fond and loving memories, along with her parents, to her brother Arnoldis Pilgrim of Duncan, SC; aunts, Clarise (Gabe) Anderson of Mooresville, NC, Maudine (Frankie) Clemons, Betty Ann Lewis, Hattie (Kelvin) Gossett, Evelyn Lewis all of Spartanburg, SC and Sandy (Donnie) Alverson of Simpsonville, SC; uncles, Eddie Lewis and Tedrick Lewis both of Spartanburg, SC; step-grandmother, Sybil Berry of Duncan, SC; fur baby, Harvey; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Ashley was preceded in death by grandmothers, Clara Lewis, and Edna Berry; grandfathers, Buddy Berry, Sr. and Freddie Lewis; aunt, Faye Berry; and uncle, Frankie Lewis.

On Sunday, August 21, 2022, Ashley transitioned at her home. Her precious and loving memories will forever be cherished.
