Antonio Leon Craig Sr went into eternal rest on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at the age of 53 in Spartanburg, SC. Born on April 2, 1973, in High Point, NC, he was known to everyone as Tony.
He was educated at Southwest Guilford High School. After high school, Tony went into the US Marine Corps and served an 8-year term.
After his completion in the military, he started his career in environmental and hazardous waste management. He was currently employed at Clemson University as an OES Hazmat Supervisor.
He was very dedicated to his work. Tony had a passion to help others as he was a member of Spartanburg CERT, Ham Radio Club, Boys Scouts, and a Mason serving a past worship master at Silver Lake 388. He was very devoted to the community. He also had a love for cars as he would fix and race them.
He has impacted so many lives in his journey. He has shown great examples of taking the initiative, going above and beyond, and putting others first. He also believed in God as his favorite scripture was Psalm 91.
He leaves behind his loving life partner, Tomica Sibert of Boiling Springs, South Carolina; his parents William and Carolyn Craig of High Point, North Carolina; his children Antonio Craig, Jr. of Greensboro, North Carolina, Soloman Craig of High Point, North Carolina, Sa”Mya (Nelson) Garner of Thomasville, North Carolina, and Braxton Craig of Rock Hill, South Carolina. His stepchildren, Davon Murray of Charlotte, North Carolina, Christan Murray of Charleston, South Carolina, and Tra’ Quan Thompson of Boiling Springs, SC; grandchildren, Carli Craig and Shay Garner. His siblings William Craig Jr of Memphis, Tennessee, Leonard Craig of Nashville, Tennessee, Derita Craig of Memphis, Tennessee and Aaron Craig of High Point, North Carolina; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
