IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Annie Mildred
Harper
March 22, 1941 – February 8, 2023
Mrs. Annie Mildred "Ann" Harper was born on March 22, 1941, in Spartanburg County to the late Rush Arthur Miller and Martha Smith Miller. She was a graduate of Foster's Grove High School and continued her education at Friendship College. She married Roosevelt "Tim" Harper and to their union four children were born. Ann was an active member of Drayton Mills Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking delicious meals for her family, and her specialty was macaroni/cheese, and sweet potato custards. Her favorite color was blue and her favorite past-time was shopping, especially shoe shopping. She was one of the strongest women you will ever meet. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and if you messed with her children, you will definitely have a bad day. Annie leaves to cherish her fond and loving memories to her husband of 57 years Roosevelt "Tim" Harper of the home; daughters, Beverly (Stephen) Lowrance of Spartanburg, SC and Shimeco (Carlos) Murray of Atlanta GA; sons, Rudolph (Teresa) Harper of Spartanburg, SC and Gregory (Karina) Harper of Wichita, KS; sisters, Barbara Scott of Spartanburg, SC; Pauline Wood of Cincinnati, OH, Mary James of Spartanburg, SC, Elaine (Thomas) Prysock of Boiling Springs, SC, and Emma Perry of Spartanburg, SC; brothers, William Moore of Spartanburg, SC and Carl Moore of Huntersville, NC; eighteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marjene Hollis and brother, Arthur Lee Miller. On the evening of Wednesday of February 8, 2023; Annie's strong and brave spirit entered the portals of Heaven. Her sweet and endearing spirit will live on in the thoughts and memories of all who loved and knew her. A journey has been completed and a "Well Done" has been bestowed.
