Anna Louise Jones was born on December 31, 1962, to the late Shirlean Jones and Bennie Jones in Spartanburg, SC. She was educated in Spartanburg County schools and a graduate of Spartanburg High School. She worked for many years at White Oak North Grove as a Dietary Specialist.

Anna loved to dance and to garden, often finding joy and peace in the simple pleasures of life. Anna was very family oriented and treasured time spent with loved ones. Anna enjoyed traveling, creating lasting memories along the way, and she had a special love for crafting, where creativity shined through everything she made. Anna's favorite color was sunflower yellow, a color that reflected warmth, happiness, and the bright spirit that Anna carried.

She was preceded in death, along with her parents, by son, Derrick T. Jones and aunt, Mary Sims.

Left to cherish life's works include sons, Parrish J. Jones and Ishameal J. Jones both of Spartanburg, SC; siblings, Marlene Teamer, Wilma J. Jones "Doddie", Bennie F. Jones, Jr. "Frankie", and Berley Marcel Jones all of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Jamaria L. Hall Jones, Elijah Christian Jones, Leo Alexander Jones, and Parrish Jamal Jones, Jr.; and host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Anna transitioned peacefully on Saturday, January 13, 2026, at the Spartanburg Medical Center. Anna will be sorely missed by family and friends whose lives were touched by love, joy, and kindness.
